Background of (PCN TV) Pakistan Christian Network

Great Praise Communication Ministries is a non-profit, non-government and non-political organization, established in 2004 and registered in 2005 under office of the registrar, joint stock companies, city district government, Lahore Pakistan. The Act of 1860,
It is self supporting (with no donations, support or outside help) volunteer entity which works with local cable Operators to provide Christian TV Cable to general public in Lahore, Pakistan. On return from South Korea Mr. Ashtiaq started PCN Television. From start to now Mr. Ashtiaq is working tirelessly & approaching various local Cable operators to request them to broadcast Christian Cable TV Channel but most of them refused to carry any Christian channel stating many obstacles which included bureaucratic red tape to vague licensing issues to opposition from many sectors in the society. But Mr. Ashtiaq was undeterred and finally was able to develop understanding with some local Cable TV providers, and an agreement was formed. After many months of hard work and non stops efforts; for the first time in the history of Pakistan, PCN started to broadcast in Lahore to 3.5 million people's home. In starting, the countless obstacles and difficulties were faced but we are proud to state that now PCN Television is working as a large Christian Cable Channel in Pakistan. But the people of other areas are demanding PCN to work in their areas but we don't have enough funds to start the PCN programs. We should spare time for the worship in church but those who are sick, disable or any other reasons not to go church; they can listen and watch the programs at their homes. Its great pleasure for us that other ministries are showing their programs through PCN, please pray for the growth and uplift of PCN programs so that we can expand its programs to other areas of Pakistan.
